The school The history The teacher The coach Before the creation of tis section, children whose level required too much training were forced to claim a dispensation and left their classroom during the lesson once or twice a week. Sometimmes, they missed saturdays lessons or came back on monday from their sport event without having enough time to rest. Obviously, this situation was detrimental to their schooling and sportive improvements. Then I presented a project of a flexible working hours class based on total respect of school programme and adapting the schedule through the year, trying to respect as possible children biological rythm while allowing to satisfy training and sport events requires. (confer convention page 9) After some months of common working with academic authorities, sportive and municipal, this project materialized in september 1991 with the creation, experimentaly, of theflexible working hours class at Ste Anne school. The first teacher, Ms Danièle Bens, took care of this class since the beginning and the next ten years. A narrow collaboration with trainers and "Pôle France" management (monthly and occasionnal meetings) allowed to provide pupils a good continuous educational support. Every end of year, reports shown the experience was positive on both scholar and spotive points of vue. In 1998, an agreement between Academic Inspection of Bouches-du-Rhônes, Marseille Community and the departemental section ofthe Federation française de gymnastique created the admistrative basis, indispensible for the durabilityor its running.
